[dropcap]L[/dropcap]a exitosa serie de fantasía épica Game of Thrones de la cadena HBO partirá como favorita para la 68ª edición de los premios Emmy, los más importantes de la industria televisiva, al lograr este jueves 23 nominaciones.
Game of Thrones, que en 2015 estableció un récord al llevarse 12 premios, competirá con House of Cards, Better call Saul, Mr.Robot, Downton Abbey, The Americans y Homeland.
El segundo lugar en nominaciones fue para The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story, con 22, seguida por Fargo con 18.
Anthony Anderson, estrella de la comedia Black-ish, y la actriz de Gilmore Girls Lauren Graham presentaron a los candidatos.
La gala de premiación se celebrará el domingo 18 de septiembre en el Microsoft Theatre de Los Ángeles y estará presentada por Jimmy Kimmel.
