Los MTV Video Music Awards honran a los mejores artistas y a los nombres más importantes de la música en el espectáculo de este año, repleto de estrellas.
En la gala del domingo, Jack Harlow, Kendrick Lamar y Lil Nas X lideraron el grupo con siete nominaciones cada uno, mientras que la presentadora de los MTV VMAs de 2021, Doja Cat, y Harry Styles no se quedan atrás, con seis nominaciones cada uno.
Sin embargo, podría decirse que el triunfador de la noche fue el rapero Bad Bunny, quien ganó el premio Artista del Año, siguiéndole otros artistas hispanos como Annita que se llevó el galardón Mejor canción latina con «Envolver» y la Rosalía el premio de Mejor edición con su canción Saoko.
