La edición número 49 de los People’s Choice Awards logró convocar a diferentes generaciones gracias a que celebró la autenticidad de sus ganadores, quienes no dudaron en ser ellos mismos a la hora de recibir sus galardones.
Entre los premiados se encontraba Adam Sandler, quien fue galardonado como Ícono del Público y fiel a su estilo cómico hizo chistes sobre haber creído que era el hombre más sexy en lugar del premio que le daban. Otra premiada fue Jennifer Aniston por su papel en The Morning Show. También celebraron a la influencer argentina Tefi Russo.
De esta manera, la entrega logró convocar a personas de distintas edades al reconocer de forma natural a los artistas más votados por el público, sean figuras consolidadas o nuevos talentos en ascenso como Russo, primando sobre todo la autenticidad.
